Licensed Financial Advice Provider · New Zealand
Simply connect once through open banking. Atlas keeps the whole picture current and up to date, so we're never planning off last year's numbers.
Using the data we already have, you can run scenarios. We call them maps. Then turn any map into advice simply by requesting it. For most advice, that's free of charge.
Open a mapHome base shows where you stand. Maps show what's possible. Journeys are where it happens. This is the powerhouse of atlas: pick how you want to get there.
Start with DIY and bring in an adviser whenever you like.
DIY journeys use general information and your own numbers; they aren't personalised financial advice. When you ask an on-call adviser for a recommendation, that is financial advice. Financial advice is provided by MapMy Financial Group Limited, trading as atlas advice (FSP1011901, Class 2 FAP licence). Lending is subject to each lender's criteria. We can't guarantee an outcome, but we'll always tell you where you stand.
The people who need financial advice the most often feel it isn't for them. That they're not worth an adviser's time, or can't afford one.
As financial advisers, we're paid by providers when we recommend their products. We use that to give back, so more New Zealanders have access. Not everyone will want advice, and that's fine. There's enough in atlas to make changes you may have thought were out of reach.
Everyone on atlas gets these, free of charge.
Where you stand today, across everything you hold.
Scenarios run on your own numbers, not averages.
Simple goals, tracked all the way to the next one.
Then we guide you to that next milestone through tracking and simple goal setting.
Whatever we recommend, our duty is to put your interests first. Every commission we receive is set out in our disclosure
One verdict, in plain language, updated every time money moves.
The single change that shifts your position the most. Costed, dated, ranked.
Hand it to a licensed adviser without re-explaining a thing.
Most of us have never seen our whole financial position in one place. Why we built atlas

Atlas does the maths. When the decision is real — a mortgage, a restructure, a shift in strategy — you talk to a licensed adviser who already has your numbers in front of them.
Handing an app your bank details deserves a straight answer. Here's exactly what happens to your information.
You connect through Akahu, New Zealand's open banking provider, and sign in with your bank. We never see or store your banking password.
The connection is read-only: atlas can look, never move money. What we do hold sits on Google Cloud in Sydney, locked to your account at the database level.
Disconnecting deletes your access token straight away and revokes it at Akahu. Delete your account and your data goes with it, apart from advice records we're required to keep for seven years.
Connect your accounts, run every map, see your whole position.
We're paid commission by the lender or fund provider. Every rate is published in our disclosure.
We may be paid commission by providers we work with. Those relationships are set out in our disclosure.
We only earn when we add value — and we're paid by the providers of the product, not by you.

Yes. The app costs nothing: connect your accounts, run every map and track your milestones. Advice is free to you as well — we're paid by the lender or fund provider whose product we recommend, not by you.
Through Akahu, New Zealand's open banking provider. You sign in with your bank through Akahu, not through us, so atlas never sees your banking password. The connection is read-only, which means atlas can see your accounts but can never move money.
On Google Cloud in Sydney, Australia. It's held so atlas can show your position and how it changes over time, encrypted and locked to your account so nobody else can read it. The connection itself is read-only, so atlas can see your accounts but can never move money.
Disconnect at any time. That deletes your access token immediately and revokes it at Akahu. Delete your account and your information goes with it, apart from records of any advice we've given, which we're required to keep for seven years.
No. Plenty of people will run their journeys themselves, and that's fine — the app is yours either way. An adviser is there if you want one: message, book a call or request a callback.
Licensed financial advisers at MapMy Financial Group Limited, trading as atlas advice — a Class 2 Financial Advice Provider (FSP1011901) based in Cambridge. If something goes wrong, we're members of Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL), a free and independent dispute resolution scheme.
Never. We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the providers that make atlas work — Akahu for your bank connection, our hosting and email providers — and with a lender or fund provider when you ask us to act for you.
A call of about 20 minutes at a time you choose. We walk you through connecting your accounts and setting your first milestone, so you're not left to work it out alone.
